2013 marks the third consecutive year that FDAImports.com has been showcased at the China Fisheries and Seafood Expo.  This year Benjamin England, Rick Quinn, John Wu, Shelly Li, and Ge Song attended the show, November 5 to 7, 2013 in Dalian, to meet and connect with existing and potential clients from China and other countries.  The show was a success, and the team came back with positive feedback.

Reporting from the show, Mr. Quinn said “This year the show was busier and better than previous years.  We received a lot of inquiries from companies who want to import into United Sates. Interestingly, many seafood enterprises asked about the US antidumping policies and meeting the requirements for exemption from FDA Import Alert 16-131 (Automatic Detention of Aquacultured Catfish, Basa, Shrimp, Dace, and Eel from China- Presence of New Animal Drugs and/or Unsafe Food Additives). We ran out of our whitepaper regarding the anticipated impacts of FDA’s proposed rule on the Foreign Supplier Verification Program on seafood foreign manufacturers.”  Mr. England added, “As we expected, many foreign seafood manufacturers were excited to hear that FDAImports.com offers free FDA facility registration.”

“During the past two years, we have established very close partnerships and expanded new relationships with Chinese companies, manufacturers and trade organizations. Many of our existing clients visited our booth to express their gratitude to us for helping them gain traction in the U.S. market,” Mr. England continued. “They have a more thorough understanding of FDA requirements and have changed their operations to ensure their products’ compliance with FDA requirements under our guidance. We look forward to serving more Chinese food export companies so they too will find increasing successes in the US market.”

FDAImports.com and ExportToUSA.com.cn continue to operate our China main office in Qingdao with increasing referrals and demands from Chinese food companies looking to export to the US.
