Based on our conversations with FDA, some facility registrations were cancelled because the US Agent failed to affirm the agency with FDA. However, we have had experiences where the US Agency was confirmed and the registration still cancelled.

Contact us if you believe your facility may have an invalid registration number.

We have become aware that FDA’s online system is erroneously cancelling active food facility registrations from around the world. This system-wide glitch has caught food facilities by surprise after industry worked hard to get their facilities registered before the end of 2016 to meet the biennial requirement.

FDAImports.com has reached out to FDA to determine the extent of the malfunction and what, if anything, food facilities will need to do to reactivate their registrations within the online system.

If your facility was impacted by FDA’s error and you have immediate concerns please contact us. We may be able to work out a short-term solution for you, while we work with FDA to correct the problem permanently.
